Many, Many custom builds.

Like every collector I love to display my collection. I have a part of my workshop that is sectioned off solely for my Joe collection. I wanted to expand the basic Joe HQ and since I love to build custom buildings, I figured I would mix the two. In the picks there are several custom vehicles (mainly paint schemes), buildings, battlefield accessories, etc.
The HQ is a restored 1983 HQ, nothing special other than a coat of paint to hide yellowing and some custom decals. The warehouse was one of the first large buildings I done. It comes with a fuel tank and pump, warehouse office and forklifts to move all the equipment the Joes need. The pallets are all custom made along with almost every crate and box inside. The second building with the large opening and small windows was my earliest attempt at running lights. This piece set unused for a few years and when I set up a new display I broke it out again. The "U" shaped building, which is the main administrative complex, was probably the most difficult to build. The building is 2 leveled with lighting in each room. There are 4 rooms upstairs and four downstairs. Upstairs houses a briefing room and comms center along with Hawk & Duke's offices. The downstairs has 2 offices and 2 general purpose workrooms. The cool thing about this building is it is a solid building, no open back or side. The roof does come off and each of the 4 upstairs room's floors pull out to reveal the lower levels.
This playset is always a work in progress and I can't leave it the way it is for long before I have to add or subtract things.
