What started out as a fake bootleg ebay auction (see my Swim Daddy Destro figure) turned into a site challenge to create SDD figures, which then broadened into a Themed Display for our JoeCustoms display table at the 2014 GI Joe Collector's Club Convention in Dallas TX. The title of the display, plus the sign on the beach itself, were taken from an image in the back of IDW Special Missions #2 TPB.

The final display included the base work as listed above, plus featured customs from board members pluv (Boardwalk Destro,) Lance Sputnik (Lounge Destro,) Vidmouse (Cardboard SDD,) HypnoHustler (Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini Baroness,) and JoeCzar (The Latest in BlueShirt Swimwear Trooper,) along with a pile of extra playset dressing, including, but not limited to, a 1:18 scale toy Moray and MASS device from pluv.
