This particular example of the X-30 is what one would have looked like had the equipment issued to the Joe Team been transferred to the proper branches of the service after the decommissioning of the unit in 1994. This aircraft was transferred to the Oklahoma Air National Guard and served briefly in Operation Allied Force before it was decommissioned and placed in storage at the AMARC facility in Davis-Monthan AFB. The transfer was made to the high maintenance costs of the aircraft and availability of parts due to the relatively low number of airframes suitable.
