Main vehicle: Warthog.
Parts added-
Star Wars radar dishes, H.I.S.S. turret with Chap Mei guns and amo, Chap Mei cameras, window screen patch kits with the window coverings.

Modified Warthog: The communications vehicle.
This vehicle is one of many designed to bridge communications in blackout areas. And to locate possible survivors. It features external two way mics, cameras and radar, along with inferred devices.
The windows have been reinforced with 8 gauge hardware cloth to prevent zombies from entering and infecting the crew inside.

Here is the back story . . .

The events described in End of Days take place after Dead End*.

The zombie outbreak had all but doomed humanity. Government Scientists, in secret locations, work at fever pitches to reverse the effects and find a cure. Meanwhile the united leaders of the world agreed to level major Cities (which had been abandoned), using non-nuclear weapons, hoping this would get the virus under control. But it did not. The result was destruction and major power outages.

The battle between the G.I. Joe team and Cobra continues.

(*Dead End was a Dio-Story I had posted in 2003. It was taken off the internet in 2008. The story of Dead End described how Cobra created a virus based bio-weapon that could reanimate the bodies of the recently deceased. The weapon, The Dead End virus, was going to be sold by M.A.R.S. industries. During a demonstration, things went wrong and the infected corpses escaped. The virus spread worldwide in a matter of weeks.)

Construction notes:
For the vehicle most of the parts were glued on using Hot Glue. It was the only thing that would stick. As for the turret, I simply cut a hole in the roof and inserted the top section from a damaged HISS (the turret retains its' full range of motion). I then replaced the HISS cannons with Chap Mei guns for a more realistic look. The radar devices are from the Star Wars line. The Cameras, mics and spot lights are castings from various lines.
For the paint apps I started off with a textured spray base- gray in color. Then sprayed layers of green, brown, red, chrome, silver and black.
