The Strider Battliod Frame was developed as a base unit as to be outfitted for varying environments. Its life support systems can handle everything from the Arctic cold to the Desert heat.
The Standard Desert Frame as shown here is equipped with A massive Vulcan chain cannon as well as the standard Battloid rifle. Various packs containing repair equipment and emergency supplies are located on the Frame as well.
