Helicopter- 2001 GI Joe Locust

Wild Bill- 25th Anniversary with Cobra soldier legs.

Co-Pilot- 25th Matt Trakker, Sgt. Airborne helmet.

I purchased a 2001 Locust when it came out and began repainting it olive drab paint. Recently I decided to add Air Cavalry patches and sabers to the body of the helicopter. The patches and sabers were printed out on to paper and glued to the Dragonfly.

It is well known that Wild Bill served in the Air Cavalry during the war. When he joined the Joe team, his skills as a helicopter pilot proved invaluable. Wild Bill became the main helicopter pilot for the experimental GI Joe Dragonfly. After many successful missions, by Wild Bill during his tour with the Joe Team, the Joes surprised Wild Bill by presenting him with a personal Dragonfly with the Air Cavalry markings. Now Wild Bill leads the charge of the Dragonfly squadron much like the original Cavalry Soldiers in his own Air Cavalry Dragonfly.
