Primary Military Specialty: Scout
Secondary Military Specialty: Tracker

Scope's Armenian parents were killed when he was very young, and subsequently he was adopted and raised by an American couple in the mountains of West Virginia. His adoptive father taught him to hunt and track from a young age; he shot his first rifle at age 9, and hasn't forgotten the rush of pulling that trigger. After he completed High School, the young man decided to give something back to his adoptive country by serving in the military, joining the Army. Scope is both intuitive and perceptive, which have given him the means to complete Ranger and Airborne Schools with the highest of marks. Additionally, all the years of hunting in the mountainous regions of his home state have honed his marksmanship skills to near perfection; in other words, when he finds it, he can shoot it!

Scope has an exemplary service record, which has included tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. His ability to move in rugged, often snow covered terrain has made him an asset that the Joes couldn't pass over, and therefore he was accepted to the Green Shirt Program on his first application. Since then he has become one of the GI Joe's best mountain tracking instructors, when not on a mission himself.

In an interview after Scope was credited with saving several Joe Team members from walking into a Cobra Jungle Viper ambush, Grunt commented: "We wouldn't have had a chance if Scope hadn't been with us. The Jungle Viper unit had taken up positions that made them nearly invisible to any of us, but somehow, and I still don't know how anyone could possibly have spotted those buggers, Scope did so. We were able to take cover, and then turn the ambush on them!"
