The idea for Dr. Mindbender for this project came from Devil's Due GI Joe/Transformers crossover: Black Horizon. Though I don't follow the timeline exactly, I did like the idea of the Adventure Team meeting Cobra-La. After seeing some of the Super Joe figures and their enemy, the Terrons, I felt that Cobra-La could fit in quite nicely.

I attached some of the artwork from the Devil's Due series that I used as inspiration for Mindbender. The art is not consistent, so the pictures were more a guide than anything else.
