Having been recruited into Cobra in it's infancy, Copperhead once filled an important role within Cobra, as their premiere swamp boat pilot.As time wore on, he was given less and less to do, and finally on Cobra Island he was relegated to patrolling the swamps with Croc Master. Unable to return to his old stomping grounds, Copperhead began to grow uneasy. He was of little value to Cobra, he still needed their protection and paychecks to keep his bookies at bay, and he had nowhere else to go. Keeping up with the Cobra Navy tech bulletins, he came across an opportunity - Destro was looking for qualified boatsmen to be trained in his latest addition to the Cobra arsenal, the BUGG. Copperhead signed up and was accepted into the program. The training was not at all what he expected, employing heavy use of a virtual reality helmet, but he soon got used to it's bulk. An important part of the team, Copperhead was able to breathe a little easier in knowing that his future within Cobra was once again secure...
