I put together this figure in a fit of what I call "divine customizing," where parts just Go Together Right, you know? I decided that the shoulder bits would look cool reflective, and the idea of a future cop with sirens on his shoulders seemed cool. (Shades of Mobile Police Patlabor!) Turning the grid on the chest into a loudspeaker just seemed to be logical.

The name "Nightbeat" is taken from a (relatively) obscure Autobot who has a VERY devoted cult following. I figured I'd make this one a detective, just like his namesake. Also, MANY bonus points to the people who figure out who his most famous policeman ancestor was.... (here's a hint: It AIN'T a Joe.)
