Bombstrike was a first class soldier, passing all training and examinations with flying colors. And perhaps she would have made a fine career if the US government did not have such a reserved stance on female service members. Quickly growing disgruntled as lesser soldiers advanced due to combat experience while she was relegated to the sidelines a "non-com," she left the active military to pursue a more challenging role in the renegade joe team. Although her brother Blackout attempted to rescue her, she is convinced that to be the soldier that she can be, she has to go to the other team.

Bombstrike was trained in both counterintelligence and special operations and has since started to train in urban combat. She is trained to use most small pact arms and is especially deadly with her matched pistols. While once the ideal soldier in form, dress, and demeanor, she now looks more the anti soldier with her non regulation dress and combat style.
