To make Cobra island more Self-sufficient, Cobra Commander created the Agri-vipers, a battalion composed of the best farmers throughout the midwest. They know from years of Experience when and where to plant, and they can grow fields of corn and wheat without the benefit of Genetically-altered Triple hybrid seeds. Although not generally seen in combat, they have been given basic viper training in case of Invasion.

From General Hawk's files: You don't see Agri-vipers on the field, you see them IN the field, their main weapon is a shovel, and their vehicles are John Deere tractors, True not the toughest Vipers, but it isn't an easy task growing enough food for the populace of Cobra Island. You can easily distinguish Agri-vipers by the deep Farmers Tans on their arms and around their eyes, and the fact they always play "She thinks my tractors Sexy" on the Jukeboxes of Cobra Bars.

The Idea popped into my head while trying to download "Rain on the Scarecrow" off of Napster, a song about Farmers losing their Farms. This got me thinking Cobra Island would need to be self-sufficient, and part of that would be growing your own food. I tried to use a Shade of green close to that on John Deere tractors.
