Machete

Machete is the one of the newer members of the Dreadnoks. Zartan found him on the street with a guitar case. When asked to play a song, Machete pulled out a shotgun and demanded his money. Zartan offered him some quick cash for a dangerous job. Hours later, Machete barged into their hideout, demanding his money. Zartan, surprised at his survival, offered him a more permanent spot on the team. This addition came in handy when Overkill seceded from Cobra and attempted to take over. He is often partnered with Mole, the other newest member of the gang. Not much is known about him before the Dreadnoks, but now Machete can be seen blasting the heads off BATs with his trusty shotgun.

I originally wasn't sure if I wanted to do Long Range or Machete. I had just pieced together a custom sniper rifle and wanted to use it so I pieced together what would've been Long Range. He couldn't hold it and I realized he more closely resembled Machete. First thing I did was set out to find a machete. I had some barbecue tongs from a mini BBQ set that I cut and shaped for the blade. I tried to make it look old/beat up/distressed. I knew from the cartoon (which I never watched) that he often used shotguns so I tried a couple out. The guitar case was something I had laying around for a while. Its covered in paper and primer to give it a shiny leather look. I filled the inside with cloth and gave it a strap from a Chap Mei rifle. I was able to fit his machete, shotgun, a sawed-off, and 3 hand guns in there, in addition to the handgun he's always holding. I like for my figures to be able to carry as much as possible. I figured the Dreadnoks would be on the move often so a guitar case wouldn't be too far fetched. Lt. Stone's torso was cut down because of the long legs. I added the soul patch. The hands were drilled and I used a broken T-bar to make the ball joints for the hands. This was an awesome figure to make.
