Born into a Military life Lieutenant Stone was on a mission for the Crown destroying a Cobra weapons cache. During the altercation was badly injuried however with the power of pneumatics DoctorsGreer and Scott were able to give Lieutenant Stone a second lease on life rebuiling him and making him stronger, faster and more powerful. Stone asked to join GI Joe after talking with Dr. Scott about not letting Cobra hurt another they hurt him.
