Wild Bill says: Airborne has been with the G.I. Joe team for quite some time now, and when we were looking for somebody to pilot the Tiger Blaster Hovercraft, he immediately came to mind. His years of co-piloting and gunning in the Dragonfly has given him a keen kinesthetic sense and uncanny ability to both predict where his target is, will be, and enable him to place his weapons platform in the optimum firing position to nail them. Maybe it's that spooky "far seeing look" of his. Of course after he sinks a couple of cobra Water Moccasins or a Moray, he'll be right there fishing the cobra pilots out of the water, reading them the Miranda act and serving them papers for damage and destruction of government property if they managed to put a scratch on his vehicle. When not on mission, Airborne can be found in the legal office of the Pit preparing wills and powers of attorney for his fellow teammates, briefing the team on treatment adn handling of detainees and tracking conviction reports of captured cobras as they are processed though the legal system. Occasionally he will go TDY (Temporary Duty) to Guantanamo Bay to oversee the questioning of cobra EPWs (Enemy Prisoners of War).
Looking though my custom fodder, Airborne jumped out at me immediately. He is a long time member of the team (rendered in new sculpt), His green was reminiscent of TF Jinx, and his pads provided a good background for the stripes. I kept his blue highlights and accents because I like the look on TF Dial Tone and TF SGT Stalker. His helmet is a good open-air-cockpit helmet for manning the Tiger Blaster. Unlike some, I really like the Orange of the Convention Tiger Ray, Mutt and Hardtop, and this Airborne and his vehicle complement them nicely.
