When Cobra Commander decided to beef up the Python Patrol with more units he decided they needed boost in the heavy assualt area and so he tapped his Mega Vipers. Trained to tackle anything thrown at them the Mega Vipers are a nasty bunch of troopers. Giving them Pythonized uniforms that make them harder to spot and harder to kill just gives them more attitude and meaness. They load up on weapons and head out to the thick of battle leading the charge. Trained on just about every weapon at Cobra's disposal they are a dangerous and deadly foe.

I wanted to do a second Python Patrol figure and could not figure who to do. I had one that just did not work, then I saw a spare Mega Viper and it hit me that he would be perfect! I really liked the way he turned out. I did have a little trouble trying to decide if he was a Python Swamp Viper or Python Mega Viper. I re-worked the Mega into a form of shock trooper and not a monster trainer.
