GeneralsJoes and others on twitter found some interesting images. No one quite knows exactly what they’re for much less if it is for anything that we’ll see beyond these figure and scenary images, but that image of the sub suspended frozen in the ice just became dio shot #1 come winter. If nothing else some cool designs going on worth checking out.

"Thanks for showing interest in my work, I'm seeing fans going wild about this which is awesome. The answer is yes and no. Yes, the concept art pieces are all part of what meant to be a pitch for a GIJOE themed video game, FPS abilities based multiplayer game and No, is not currently in development.
A few months ago, reviewing the latest facts about the GIJOE franchise, I came up with the idea of a “Revival” type of Project for one of my childhood favorite shows ever. Not only for playing but to watch the characters perform and in a way to “collect” your favorite characters, switch uniforms and interact with each other in a virtual cobra vs Joes battlefield.
To fans, do not panic, I have a huge respect for the classic joes so I try to keep the basis of the original design, not all in dark black suits as the movies but, for gameplay purposes, some changes need to be made, A tank character need to be a Little hulky, new abilities need to be added and so on.
Remember, these are just early stage concept.
Things changed on the personal side so I’ve decided to add the content to my artistic portfolio update and also share them publicly.
Perhaps, I encourage fans to share and knock some door out there if they can so maybe Hasbro or else could take a look and see how much potential this idea have :)
I’ll produce a few more assets so if anyone is interested to see whats next, just need to follow me on any of my social channels."

I'm not a huge fan of the designs, kinda looks like the GI Joe characters got the "New 52" treatment...

Yeah, not so big on stylized designs, though some are fairly good. What the hell happened to their calves?!!

And I hope he didn't submit the art with the misspelled "Arctic" theme...

That Artic thing really stood out. The designs are fun, and you can tell someone put a lot of hard work into them, regardless if you like them or not. I mean at least it's not Thundercats Roar.

But to see someone put hours of work into the art and not put 30 seconds into googling how to spell Arctic might be why these things didn't get approved. And that's terrible.
