boss fight custom contest questions and ID

hey guys I didn't here about the custom contest until I went to joecustoms facebook to see if there was other features for the GP.

I went to boss fights site and read the rules. my main question is how 60% can be figured on a custom? I understand they want their products featured, it's just tough for me to judge. i'll probably play it safe and use every possible boss fight part I can find.

do accessories count in the overall percent? actually worn or weapons?

if you used all boss fight parts except the head and accessories, what percent would you say that was?

if you sculpt on a boss fight part is it still counted as such? what if it is completely sculpted over?

is there an online guide somewhere of all the boss fight head sculpts? I've never bought one thing from boss fight, but I've traded for/have been given heads.

are these boss fight heads? is there a way to tell from a heads construction?

Team Boss Fight will be reviewing ALL submissions personally and will be ranking these items on creativity, detail, use of HACKS parts, and ultimately on overall originality

We will award 2 prizes:
Ultimate HACKS Hero $100 gift card and HACKS Hero $50

Winning submissions will be announced on all of our BFS social media platforms as well as a permanent feature in the Customizer portion of bossfightstudio.com

By submitting your items you are granting BFS to use those images on our social media and web sites.

To get you started with any supplies you may need, all of our customizing items will be 20% off this week on bossfightshop.com. Sale runs from Saturday at midnight EDT to July 19, 11:59 pm.

Justin form GeneralsJoes runs the Virtruvian FACTS wiki where you can find all kinds of parts info. He's got everything they've released so far. http://vhackswiki.com/vhackswiki/index.php/Main_Page

Keep in mind it is 60% HACKS parts and not 60% BossFight parts, meaning Marauder stuff won't count towards the 60%.

As far as calculating 60% all I cna think is that they recognize their own work. If something uses a Star Wars figure as the base body with a HACKS helmet and sword, that probably won't cut it.

Sculpting and casting is allowed.

is marauder figures boss fight product? I thought they used the same oversees companies, but didn't know there was a "deal" or relationship between the 2. no big deal either way, just an ah ha type moment!

so I ended up using-

boss fight head
boss fight base figure- torso, abdomen, arms, legs
zombie lab hands
gi joe feet
gi joe and custom web gear
custom weapons

hopefully that is at least 60% . if anyone sees or hears an official formula, please share

I also am making 2 accessory animals and a dio…..

No. They have a Facebook page for announcements, https://www.facebook.com/bossfightstudio/ and a fan group for fan posting and sometimes answer non-customer service questions (which should all be via email), https://www.facebook.com/groups/1447638695512636/

FYI guys i'm having some trouble getting my pics submitted. probably my poor internet, but I got a couple pics attached twice.

my first email to info@bossfightstudio.com got returned for being too large. I tried to attach 10 pictures as files plus the same 10 in the body of the message. since I had pics fail to load I loaded them again, and again. it ended up being 10 images in the body plus 16 attached (some incomplete).

my second email hasn't been returned yet, fingers crossed. it had 12 images attached. my 10 and two that outlook said I needed to upload again. those 2 show as partials in my sent email. all 10 of my pics looked good to go.

sending pics is so hard that usually I host them at servimg before emailing anyone, but I wasn't sure how that would go over with the boss fight team.

They said on FB they were trying to get everything together for yesterday. I'm guessing they got flooded with submissions and it is taking a bit longer to judge entries and get them loaded up for viewing.
