I found them this weekend, surprisingly.
Picked up the Tiger Snake with Street-Viper.

The vehicle is cool, it has a removable gatling gun with an ammo belt, and the rollcage opens to fit the figure in. The steering wheel can turn.
Thanks to the ripcord mechanism, there's some nice weight in the vehicle, and the ripcord gimmick itself works great and is a lot of fun. ZOOOOOM!

The Street-Viper, however, is kinda useless. It's just an Elite-Viper without any weapons or gear, just his chestplate and belt.

Saw these the other day, but passed because I figured they'd be kinda cramped -- can we get some pics of the Tiger Snake with some figs on board?

Well there's plenty of room for the body, since the arms stay over the sides. The head is a matter of size, there's a groove in the roof so the head fits. If the head you use is bigger than the groove, it won't go in, not without force.

Here it is with my Zartan LBC (made out of the Street-Viper) riding inside:

Seeing that thing makes me wonder why Sgt. Stone didn't come with that three wheeled motorcycle he's shown riding in on in the movie.

Either licensing issues, or its lack of armaments made Hasbro not too interested in it.

Uhm. Wal-Mart in Montreal, and wherever Chief spotted it...
Haven't seen anything else about it.

Although he was a small player and already has two figures in the RoC line, Sgt Stone would have been a great choice for the Joe Rip Attack driver.

Where to start? These things look like Tonka toys, not Joe vehicles. Clunky, lack of details, lack of features, I think they look like they are targeted at the 4 year old audience. And the figures are not new. Honestly, can you picture a cool looking figure on one of these things and say with a straight face that they go together?

I would not want these if someone gave them to me free! If they sell well, that's great for the brand, but it might encourage Hasbro to make more vehicles in this style, which would be sad. Although, come to think of it, i haven't bought a Joe vehicle in years. It's PTE all the way for me, baby!

Edit: Oh, and their 50 year old toy technology doesn't really impress me, either.

Jay, do you have any other pictures of that thing?

Funny, they look like neither construction vehicles nor pick-up trucks.
The Tiger Snake looks like a miniaturized Steel Monster, though, but I don't see how that's a negative thing.

Seems detailed enough. The plow in front is loaded with details, there's rivets molded on across the toy, an actual seat and steering wheel, not to mention the rear tire is rubber. As for lack of features, it has a gun and it can roll on its own at high speeds across the floor. How is that not a feature?

Well much like every other Joe toy put out in recent year, it does say "Ages 4+" on the packaging.

Considering how inexpensive the toy is, I'm not complaining. The figure is practically a freebie.

Yes. In fact I'm working on an actual Street-Viper to drive it.

Wow, you're really angry at these toys. Did a Rip Attack vehicle push you off your bike when you were a child?

Cheap vehicles with custom fodder figures are awful indeed! They should redeco more vehicles from Spy Troops instead!

These do look kinda cool. Definitely targeted at the non-military realistic audience.

This definitely fits the City Strike subline (as indicated on the packaging). It's small size allows it to get through small streets and alleyways, and the large plow in front allows it to knock obstacles out of its way. It looks fast, mean and I could totally see a few of these being part of an urban squad along with a City Strike Rage tank.
