well clearly you have your thumb on the pulse of all fandom everywhere, I mean golly gee over a decade? Wow. I am impressed. Imagine that citizen Cain slow clap here.

heaven forbid someone else read message boards or notice that for every positive willis comment out there there is an equal number of detractors. especially on Transformer sites. But then that is the same with just about everything, seems you can't make a casual observation about anything on a toy message board without someone rushing in to make some random point.

Dude. Just because opinions are split about something doesn't mean there's some sort of big rift in the fandom caused by it.

I'm sorry, but I'm an active member of both fandoms and I find they're both equally capable of over-reacting to things and complaining a lot.
Just look at the recent Zarana debacle, or Rise of Cobra reactions.
Nonsense. No one over-reacts to that cinematic middle finger. ;-)

I'm also semi-active in both the Joe and Transformer fandoms, and I can vouch for the fact that Willis' entire schtick revolves around tired sarcasm and witless put-downs. His home base is the Allspark forums, where he has a gaggle of followers, and he was a large part of why I stopped posting there, before I stopped posting on TF boards altogether.

And to be fair, I'll also vouch for the fact that Joe and TF fandoms are equally full of complainers, but I think Star Wars takes the taco.

Nothing worse than wet Lance pants. Except maybe a nerd fight over a nerd fight (which this is slowly becoming... just saying)

Too bad the TNI strips are ending. They were usually enjoyable because of the toy collector humor. The main strip is pretty much garbage at this point in my opinion. I still occasionally stop by his site to see pics and reviews of new Transformers but the drama and relationship based comic is pure crap.

I'm enjoying it.
Part of my morning routine. While I prefer the toy and Batman jokes, the main story is enjoyable.
Sad to see the weekly TNI strip go, though.

Never got all the nasty comments on TNI, though. Why would people bother posting those while there's so much fun stuff to do.

At best they were cute and maybe get a chuckle or two, but yeah nothing too funny.

And yes the strip overall sucked when it got into relationship'y crap.

I liked this recent one

http://www.shortpacked.com/2011/comic/book-13/03-fishin-chicks/mercy/

I don't read the main storyline, and haven't looked at a Shortpacked strip in months. I'm not a comic strip reader really.
