http://gijoeclub.com/images/2011/barrelrollFweb.jpg Okay, I'll give them points on trying to do something new with the character instead of a straight remake, as well as using the more realistic head of the DTC version of BR instead of the Spy Troops one... but ultimately, this one does nothing for me. It's drowning too much in bland colors without anything popping, and the base parts still look too close in color to their original use on POC Duke... and while I liked it early on I'm just tired of seeing the Resolute/ROC glider pack by now. I'd say ROC Air Raid was a better modern-style Barrel Roll than this ended up being. |

I HATE that helmet. I know its somewhat accurate to a real military helmet but it looks like a 1920's football helmet with a stick on the side. Other than that... I can dig it. Its a mix of the DTC version and the Spy Troops figure. Given that Hasbro did a pretty good updated Spy Troops figure in the ROC line this one will fill the need for the brown DTC figure. I think they did okay with this one. |

Hmm. Maybe it's because I LOVED SpyTroops, but that figure is awesome. My favorite so far. I would go out of my way to find that one on eBay. |

I like this one for sure. Yeah, the helmet is a bit funky, but there's just something I like about this guy. Great re-use of the Duke torso, one of my favorites. While I prefer the blue shirt, grey trousers from the New Sculpt line, this guy looks really good in these colours. |

That helmet has always looked like a special needs helmet to me. Even the new sculpt Barrel Roll (which I guess this is based on) had that helmet... and that "duh" expression on his face. The idea of this figure is nice, but the face and helmet knock it down several pegs. |

It scores very low on the WOW factor with me, it's just kinda there, the color scheme really doesn't grab me. I can easy skip this whole thing. |

Man, they either tried too hard or they didn't try hard enough...its half over ambitious and half lazy. I like what they were going for: a creative mix between v2 and v3 but it does't actually work. I had really high hopes for an awesome BR figure and this figure just ain't it. It's not terrible or even bad... But it's far from great. |

I really do not like space marine Duke's body at all. I'm kind of surprised the club got that mold. This is one where I would have rather liked a completely different character.

I like it! I didn't think the Club could make a Barrel Roll figure that I would like, because ROC Air Raid was already a good enough Spy Troops homage for me. I agree the colors are perhaps a bit bland, and I too hate that helmet (though it is at least accurate to the DTC version), but I'm really glad the Club didn't base it on the Spy Troops version. As far as I'm concerned, the Spy Troops and DTC versions were two entirely different characters, and they will stay that way in ME form as well. This would seem to contradict the idea that the Club can't use POC tooling. |

Not bad. The helmet is a negative, but the Aliens Duke body wasn't horrible. Interesting that they got the jetpack for Barrelroll but not for City Strike Jinx. |

I disliked the "old" Barrel Roll head and bland colors from the DTC line...so this is kind of meh. |

I'm hoping the 13th figure sill now be a repaint of this one. The earth tones were ok for the DTC figure but this isn't a DTC figure. This figure needed to blow people away considering how few people even know who he is. I don't think this is a wow figure. |

He looks like a Reese's promo fig. It's a good recipe, if they give him the RoC AccSuit helmet and his v1 paintscheme (or maybe stealth black) he'd be quite cool. |
