The blue mockup looks good but it needs the 25th Ace torso and legs to pull off the Spy Troops look.

That I would definitely buy, I liked the brown, but it looks much better that way. Are you paying attention Club person who scours the forums looking for ideas?

I expect a gray on blue repaint of this Barrel Roll in the 2012 Convention box set or as a Con extra offering.

perhaps, just maybe, this is similiar to why we didn't get a v1 Jinx (or at least why many suggest we didn't) Hasbro wants to be able to do a v1 Barrel Roll down the lown (or one closer to it)

So far, Barrel Roll is the only figure that has caught my eye. I like the fact that it's a new-sculpt era fig and it uses a more recent mold. Honestly, the 25th molds need to be thrown out. They were great 5 years ago, but Hasbro has come a long way since then. ROC and POC molds have a better range of motion and the chest articulation is better integrated.

Can anyone tell me the purpose of the waist piece accessory? I can't tell if the pouch is supposed to be on the front or back.

Parachute. In case he feels like jumping from his jet pack.

I would have been ecstatic if that's how he looked. LOVE this.

The helmet can come off easily enough.

Color scheme is a little odd, to me, but overall, the figure is impressive, and I'm pleased to see a character from the newsculpt line worked into the subscriptions. I believe there's quite a few overlooked characters that were introduced during the newsculpt era that are worthy of continued inclusion in the world of G.I. Joe. I wish Larry would bring some of them into the Real American Hero comic.

Yeah, I'd love to see Black Out, Munitia, Bombstrike, and Cosshair. Those first three are tied together too, so it, be great to see them made. Guess I'll have to try to customize them, that's pretty much a sure fire way to get them made in production/club (Zarana...Zandar...Cover Girl...Barrel Roll...Slice...)

That looks great. I have no problem with the parts choices for Barrell Roll, I just don't like the colors chosen. The figure as is just doesn't look like Barrell Roll to me. This photoshop does a lot better job of evoking that character.
