You shouldn't have to be lucky to make a purchase from the club without getting hit for a fraudulent transaction. If this is what we can expect from "our club", then maybe we need a new club.

For all those of you wondering if it just Transformers or if it migrated to GI Joe.. I believe it migrated. I am not a member of Transformers but am a member of GI Joe. It is all over the Hiss Tank forum. Here is a link.

Be alert all.....

I don't see anything odd on my recent statements.
I bought the Dr. Venom set in December.
What dates did people get the fraudulent charges?
This will probably delay the FSS even more. Fun Pub. should have updated their ordering system a loooong time ago.

All my purchases were Joe club. The last stuff I bought from them were the Mail Away RoC Cobra Commanders. Nothing on my other card that I used a couple of years ago, but I am watching them. I also feel this may be a deadly blow to Club. The Club is not handling this well at all. I am not renewing and don't see myself renewing anytime soon.

Yeah, everything I've seen on Facebook makes it seem like they're really not taking any of the blame, and I've seen a lot of people say they're too fearful to re-up because of this.

That right there means they won't do ANYTHING to the program....it'd cost MONEY to upgrade the program after all.... Can't get that mighty dollar into their pockets if they upgrade anything...... :whistling:

they won't switch to a paypal system because of the fees. they're bleeding customers and sales. the fss is going to be pushed back *at least* until the movie product is on the shelves. everyone will be gun-shy to purchase con sets & con registration via cc, so everyone will be mailing checks.

i kinda feel bad for them.

they need to a better job of getting out in front of this problem, show some transparency on how bad it is, and what steps they've taken and are taking to resolve this.

before it gets worse.

They can not take blame but when it comes to payment processors, companies really should research these outlets instead of picking whoever has the cheapest fees. I know there's no guaranteed way to prevent hacking for any company, but companies with good track records are going to be safer.

Yes, I know Sony also got hacked and info stolen, but apparently Sony had almost no real security in place, either.

There is no reason their website and marketplace haven't been updated.

I am in a similar boat to Joey M, when it comes to the club. I feel bad,

but then I think about all the miss fires, and runarounds, and various other things that have driven their membership away and I don't feel bad anymore. I have been getting re up notices from them, and I do want footloose, and I might go to the con, but I can't pull the trigger if my CC info is still at risk.

If I do decide to join again this year, I think I'll use a prepaid card.
