Does anyone know if these are exclusive to Dollar General, or will other dollar stores like Family Dollar get them as well? I ask because I see they have the same lame Marvel figures that have the late '70s - early 80's articulation, but FD has the figures for a dollar less... if so, the Joes could be cheaper, too.

There have been no sightings/reports of these being found in any stores besides DG but that doesn't mean they're exclusive to DG.

Family Dollar also has a repaint Thor with blue highlights and the Extremis armor Iron Man, i haven't seen those at Dollar General, also Family Dollar has the UFC fighter figures for $5.00 each, those aint at DG stores, but who knows

So I wanted to use my $5 off $25 on another set of these but the store had none.
They did tell me 8 were in transit & should be there Wednesday. Not 6 but 8 which I though sort of strange.
I will gladly trade Snake Eyes or Shipwreck for any Avengers Black Widow, Avengers Skrulls, Retaliation Red Ninja, the one that looks like Slice , Retaliation Joe trooper, Retaliation Cobra trooper, Roadblock from the 3 pack or any with a real right hand & ankle articulation, or Flint.

Still not seeing these here beyond the two sets I've found over the last 3 weeks or so. Seems most (nearly every store) never got them and the ones that did, no restock.

My wife just checked with our local DG manager( a friend of hers ) and was told that they received 2 different kinds of Joes in, but a day later, received a directive from their distribution center that said they were not to put any of the Joe stuff out for sale. Does anyone else know anything about this?

Update: After speaking with the manager further, she said that not only were they not supposed to sell them, but there was a recall to send them back.

If that is true, that doesn't bode well for seeing the alternate wave. I wonder why these would be recalled? While I'm sure the intent of this wave was to have increased Joe retail presence during the movie, the packaging does not reference the movie directly, and the toys also are not related.

Since she said the received 2 different types of Joes, I am wondering what the other ones were, if the one set was the single ones already found. Could they have sent the alternate color versions as well?

Dang, bad news for sure. This should have nothing to do with that lousy movie junk. I was planning a joe hunt tomorrow.
