More BBi Elite Forces coming to Target

Fighting 118th is reporting BBi will be re-releasing some of their Elite Forces figures single carded and in a 5 pack. Follow the link for some added details and MSRP.

This is pretty cool and the MRP of $20 for five figures is nice.
With Hasbro almost stopping the production of GI Joe, it's no surprise to see other companies stepping in.
I wouldn't be surprise to see "new" stuff from Lanard as well.

I love the BBI figures for custom fodder. The designs are solid and the weapons look great. I'll definitely be picking these up!

I saw this this morning. They say no new tools are being used, but there are two or so sculpts I don't recognize. Glad they are re-releasing some of their later figures which were not exactly easy to obtain.

Minimal paint operations. Few of the goggles or glasses are painted. No camo.

I also think it's funny and slightly sad that their characters now have names like Hawk, Duke, Cutter, and Stalker.

The names on some of those five-pack figures are interesting.seems like Hasbro let Hawk, Cannonball and Cutter slip through its corporate clutches.

The accessories are the big draw for me here, and it's not quite big enough to justify the purchase, even at a relatively low MSRP.

I'll wait for the inevittable post holiday clearance.

Yeah... how did Hasbro let the trademark lapse on those GI Joe names?

Very interesting. Sad to see those names slip away from hasbro. Clearly they care less and less about the brand these days.

Anyway, despite the lacking paint apps I can see picking some of these up for fodder and parts. Plus love the bbi weapons.

Lanard already has new stuff. It's the same old stuff in new packaging. :-P

I don't think Hasbro can trademark simple names like Cutter etc. That's why they add G.I. Joe to them.

Also the vehicles coming out are the KIDDIE BBI vehicles from a while back..... :cry:

If they keep those coming out hopefully a re-release of the Hind maybe.
Hopefully we'll get some weapon accessory packs like they used to have...

I don't want any of those kiddie BBI things! I didn't get any then & won't get any now. Looks like they will head straight to clearance again. :roll:
