Marauder Task Force II: Valkyries!

I received my... unexpectedly large box of Val stuff today, and I am damn impressed. They promised me a review sample a while back and sent me, well, more than a sample. I'll get pics later, but in short: they're great. I had some preproduction samples for a few months who had their share of problems, and I can confirm that these blow those out of the water. Plastic tolerances are much better, although I have some issues getting fully equipped helmets to stay on their heads. Also, there's so much gear I have no idea what to do with it all! Once I get a chance, I'll get some full pics taken. Marauder's hit it out of the park yet again.

Maybe I'm actually reading that sentence wrong, because perhaps the "reward package" was something different from what I'd ordered (a single Night-Ops Valkyrie), and the phrasing is throwing me off. Not like I'm kevetching, mind, because the super neat figure was all I could ever hope for and then some... just kind of scratching my head wondering if got a bad roll of the dice, ya know?

Cut-Up- I wondered about this too. I'm not complaining either. Actually wished I'd gotten more figures. But I read that as well. Would have loved that torso.

Quite understandable given the fact almost half of a free figure at this scale for a single order of $20 does seem farfetched, especially since there was the other little accessories the Valkyrie came with anyways. ;-)

Now to keep watching the Marauders Inc. site for any updates about new extra fodder... :shifty:

I got my Lady SE yday from Liftoff when we saw Rogue One, and I liker her a good bit more than Lady FF since she comes with cooler stuff.

I took my female versions of firefly and snake eyes and popped the grey and black tee shirts on them. I also mixed the grey and black gear. They look awesome.

Was gonna get some torsos, but was stymied on how to get these to work with actual JOE parts.

Bash the ball socket onto JOE part waists/lower torsos?

Nothing, if I don't actually order any torsos.

But, given I have a small supply of GI JOE female legs, I'd like to try and put something together.

You won't get a ball joint with the torsos. The ball joint on all the MTF figures is in the hip piece. So you'd have to come up with your own to attach the MTF torso to a Joe waist.

If you have extra legs you should be able to put them on the MTF/Val hips, with maybe a little work to tighten up the joint.

Just placed an order. I went a little crazy on the number of heads. I'm thrilled that plastic molded fully painted heads are 2$ each. That is a great price. I also ordered a couple of female torsos, webgear and weapons. Can't wait to get the box in the mail.
