Saw this "Lightyear" RC vehicle tonight at Target.

It is intended for 5" figures, but it is undersized and would be just about perfect for 3.75"/4" figures.

Amazon has the dropship for the 5inch line available and like the other vehicles from the line, is better suited for 1/18 from the few comparison pics floating around.

https://www.amazon.com/Lightyear-Armadi ... SLL7&psc=1

And Entertainment Earth has pics of the upcoming playset dropping soon.

I can confirm the Dropship is great for 1:18th scale figures. It's a pretty well done vehicle that I could see being used for a bunch of different lines. Halo, Star Wars, Aliens, etc.

Dan the Pixar fan has a video showing off some upcoming 5 inch scale figures and vehicles, looks like we're getting XL-03 Buzz, XL-15 Buzz, Zap Commander Marquam(sp?), Plasma drill vehicle. XL-07 spaceship, and XL-01 spaceship.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DBChBMkqb8&t=227s

I really hope the figures and vehicles are selling well enough that these will be easy to get, they're some pretty fun toys.

Saw this new "Lightyear" starfighter at Walmart after work. This one is an even cooler design than thr previously released one and looks to be much easier to modify as the cockpit is far less complex than the previous one (no moving parts aside from the canopy cover. I was seriously tempted to pick it up, but passed for now. It retails for $32.97.

That would make a good Stellar Stilleto.

Man, loving that we're getting more of the spaceships in the 5 inch line. The play features for this one look nice and unobtrusive.

Anyone tried the Imaginext Lightyear line vehicles?
There are a few I saw while looking through the toy aisle Friday.

I had the small one in hand, but didn't have the funds for it. There's a handle on them, but that's nothing to bug me. The canopy was ziptied closed so I couldn't tell for sure but from what I could see it looked like there was room for a 1/18th scale figure.the small one would make a great single pilot ship.

i bought my son's imaginext line knowing that when he grows out of them they'll work fine with my o-ring gijoes. some can be a little cramped others they fit fine.

in the case of the larger light year ship, the same more "realistic" looking one was the same price so i went with the real looking one.

I found the XL-01 spaceship for 5 inch figures at a local Walmart, they are also up on the Walmart.com website. https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/329122862
