Most interesting to see what looks like the 9poa GoT figures. I don't dig the t-hips or the lack of torso artic, but they might be worth getting for bashin' fun. Maybe keep some held aside for the Fantasy HACKS later this year or next.

According to the Funko forum, Archer is supposed to come out in this line of figure.
If the joints were ball joints instead of hinged we'd be in business.

There's also a Wall playset coming. I'm very curious about the back side (just like with my ladies, knowumsayin'?), but I think I would've preferred a section with the pass-through gate.

I got the pics from this page, but there's nothing else of interest in 18th scale:
http://funkopopcommunityuk.co.uk/other- ... moji-more/

I dunno how Funko uses '9poa', but those don't look like swivel-only shoulders to me. So I assume they mean 'joint' = 'poa', and if so the figures will actually have more than 9poa, which then leads me to think the elbows and knees are also ball-jointed along with the shoulder. But it's not a great pic, so I could easily be all kinds of wrong.

According to that site, Funko will make a partnership with Playmobil?!?!
If it's true, it's gonna be crazy!

Yeah, but the speculation is that they'll be 6" size, which is just all kinds of dumb.

Definitely fit for kitbashing, or boring out the clothing for use elsewhere. The white walker might be good to go as it is.
As for the wall, I can still get some great use out of it.

Yeah, that would be super lame. What's the point if using the Playmobil style if they're not compatible with all the Playmobil accessories and sets?
Are they afraid that kids will use zombies or "violent" characters?

I will be sure to get a ton of pictures of any prototypes on display at Toy Fair next month.

Slightly disappointed by the articulation on the 9 POA figures, but they don't look bad. They need to do more characters though. I could care less about Lord of Bones or the Magnar of Thenn.

Even though I like my current Archer, Woodhouse and Krieger heads, I am glad I haven't finished my new set yet. Will definitely wait to see if the head sculpts are all set and ready to go.

Also the more GoT figs that come out with real sculpts, the more likely I am to get into that genre too.

Wonder what the articulation on the wolf is? :)

Timber gets an upgrade.

He looks to be his own product -not Jon's accessory pack-in- but I doubt he's going to have 9poa. At best, I'm thinking six: ball neck and tail, with swivel hips/shoulders.

...Fallout Playmobil figures? Whaaaaaaaa. I hope that these are the regular size figure and it's just the way playmobil gets to keep their hands clean.

I like the GOT figures sticking to a theme. Subsequent waves could feature different themes - War of 5 Kings, Conquest of Mereen, etc.

Based on the image, the wall looks to be a hollow, transparent piece. However, the image also looks to be a cg rendering and not a finished physical piece. Toy Fair should reveal more.
