The other main issue I've seen first hand and from others are the joints not matching the fleshtones or other plastics. It looks like they painted over the joints instead fo molding them in whatever post-paint job color it should be. The paint scrapes off because of the tight joints, and you end up with shoulders, elbows and wrists that stick out.

Yeah, the guy mentioned this in either a FB post or KS update a few days ago - saying that subsequent releases will have color-matched joints (not that it helps now.) I've only noticed it on one dude's shoulders (Kobe) and on both versions of Jack's ankles. Haven't opened the Zombies to check, though.

I can confirm that colored joint issue on Zombie #6

my "Ryan" has 2 left upper arms. And his wrist joints have white plastic once the paint scrapes. I'm guessing both of those things will be present throughout my order, but I'm still pretty stoked. The wrist joint issue won't bother me much since I have so many spare HACKS hands anyway.

Update:
Some mis-colored shoulders and elbows too I see. as long as they aren't bright white, I can live with it. And it looks like the wrist paint chipping may be universal

painted joints on a friction intensive articulation system like this should be one of the biggest no-nos to be addressed from the moment of conception onward. Surprised the factory doesn't just know this at this point, so as to prevent do-overs.

the ones i've noted:

everything is painted. there's no underlying color for things. that would have made for easier customizing.

the zombies are missing all kinds of possible paint apps : eyes, teeth, bones, etc.,

i don't know if more time would've corrected these things, or if it was basically a cost/value decision, but ... what's the price point on these at retail? $10 over a 6" marvel figure?

yeah, I bet this is the only way they could hit budget. it's a poor choice for a system designed for joint swapping.

I noticed this too, I want to break out the paints and "fix" them.

Only had the time to monkey with 7 of the survivors last night, but other than the painted joints in a few places I'm not having any issues with these 7 - which includes Ashley - although I do see a lower standard of QC than I've gotten from BFS proper (after their first KS Blanks all had buried ankle pegs, to be fair). But my Ethan + Keanna news-reporting team look solid and my parts-mix of Ashley and Olivia to start Return of the Living Dead's Trash is gonna work fine. Thanks to the craziness of this election season I'm not going to have a chance but nibble at them in batches over the next few days. I could be happier, but I'm happy with these 7 so far.

I got the survivor two pack, not very pleased with them. I’m glad that I didn’t go all in. The skin tones are awful and the overall paint apps aren’t very clean. Definitely not BFS or Marauder quality. However, the molds seem nice, if only they hadn’t ruin them with so much of that blackish wash. Im crossing my fingers that EF and Hell Screemerz will be better

Got 4 more Survivors monkeyed with last night and so far the only unique issue I've had is Ryan's right calf being put on backwards, which was easily fixed.

As fodder the sculpts make them great.

If the sculpts start popping up via bfs proper though, look out. Because these with proper QC would be astounding

I went all in.
First time ever I had gone “all the way”
I am gratified and pleased they made their timeline and delivered, where I worry about two other KS I am still waiting on that I did not go all in on.
Overall I am satisfied, but not ecstatic on the delivery per price.
Next time I go all in it will be with MGR or BFS I think.

Finally got my shipping notice. Only got 4 zombies and then two female figures.

Got the figures and I have to say... I'm REAL glad I'm a loose collector because my packaging got all sorts of messed up.

Only messed around with Zoe and Marian and the zombie cop...no limb issues yet, but I've been very delicate with them..
