I got in my Beasts of the Mesozoic Fan's Choice repaint of the Pyroraptor olympius yesterday; and again lucked into seeing two cool items at once in my field of view. Here he/she is being ridden by my also-new AWOK Horrid Knight; whom I've given the arm weapons from the also-also-new HexaGear ParaPawn Ignite.

I got the Ov'Rah package, but didn't have time to check it out last night. Will give a review as soon as I do. But they are warning that the figure needs the heat treatment to avoid breakage.

Found mine on the doorstep at lunch a day early, woots! He's gorgeous and much more sturdy than the first series; and yes heat is very recommend.

I was finally able to snap a few pics of Ov’Rah. Really a fun figure. The knees and especially the wrist joints feel fragile, but have held up to everything I’ve thrown at him. The shoulder armor does obviously limit range of motion of the arms above the head, but that is about the only place it does. All the paint details are tight including the fur drybrushing. As someone who didn’t go in on the previous kickstarters I was pretty impressed.

so they made "green army men" to look like the little guys that everyone had bitd? that's neato my grenadier had some knarly scars from being used to cut my teeth ,and the flamethrower guy didn't survive the fire.....

Same factory made at roughly the same time. The greens from the BFS mini kits are dead on color-wise.

The Marauder WW2 stuff is about to go live on their website like next week. Even if you don’t care for WW2 war stuff, these green army men are fun. The fully geared KS kits come with everything except the flamethrower to recreate every tiny army man.

Shipping of the Deluxe figures has happened... sort of. Apparently USPS didn't do a lot of their pick-ups last week so Jason has been hauling the boxes to the post office himself. I was told your tracking should start to see activity and if it hasn't after tomorrow to email him.

I'm curious to see how these turned out. If they are as good as the version 2 of the regular figures I may pick up extras to use all the extra heads/feet or just make a big bear clan. I haven't decided yet.
