I changed my mind about Cross Hair. That just..... ew. He's supposed to have a jacket over the turtleneck and under the vest. He just looks... unfinished.

Not a fan of that webgear on Crosshair. There are enough other vests that would work instead.

well it is his original vest
maybe the digital mock-up is off? he is also missing his vest that he wears under it

in any case those colors are way too light! plus a black scarf is backwards? BROWN goggles!? why?

Here's the issue with Crosshairs. They took certain elements from the original and tried to translate them directly to a modern figure build. The problem is not everything translates directly. Instead of trying to improve the end result figure, they forced the design elements anyway. They end up with a figure with a chest only harness and a black turtleneck under a green sweater. While not horrible, they have access to a lot better parts that wouldn't make for such an awkward build.

Which pretty much sums up about 50% of the clubs offerings, whether it be FSS or con figures.

I know, I know "parts availability" and what not. But there are enough non heavily modded customs (joint swaps and gear) out there they could have done better.

indeed they just can't seem to get the parts right

Skip would have been MUCH better using the same Firefly torso Hardtop has. The turtleneck would have simulated the red scarf part on the original.

Then count me as somebody who thinks this is actually BETTER than the original. I loved the overall figure concept, but who steals a too-small jacket from his children and wears it into combat?

My Basic Training Field Jacket needed to be let out in the shoulders. Does that count?

What they should have done was given him the vest from 25th Beachhead, and just disregarded the webgear completely. I think that would be a much better happy medium.

They should be using a neckerchief and not the turtle neck. The web gear is okay, but I'm disappointed there is no ghillie suit.

They have to be using that head for headman later on. There is no way that head, by itself is ok for Dojo unless it has a planned reuse already.

Is the mask removable? If so, I dig that head sculpt a lot. If not... yeah.. Headman only.

I like Dojo, but I'm getting kind of sick of the DD Storm Shadow gear used for every ninja.
