Other than the box itself, if I were to go after one of these, I'd probably still spring for the J_Man one, made out of plastic with custom graphics.

Yeah that's how I thought about it. $8 each for the figures and $6 for the cardboard

Yeah but it's still sdcc, where everything costs about twice regular retail. I'm pleasantly surprised.

It is a cool idea. I'll give it that. But The figures aren't unique enough for me to want to pay an inflated price.

Didn't the original come with a small amount of plastic? Just some seats and a small console? I circled that thing vigorously in the Sears catalog back in the day. My family was unimpressed.
