From what I was told the legs are a different color because they were produced at a separate factory from the other parts. Personally I like the silver legs. Gives it that extra Gary flair.

Well, I'm not sure if everyone knows this, but I am responsible for the design of this figure. :)

The pictures you have seen using the Cobra Soldier legs were from the paint master that I created. Due to some errors at the factory, this figure not only got different legs, but also different colored ones.

The artwork for the figure has Cobra Soldier legs, as I am also responsible for it and the trading card that came with the figure.

Here are the parts:
Head: Snake Eyes with helmet and visor
Torso and Arms: Flash
Waist: Cobra Solider
Legs: Airborne (originally Cobra Soldier)
Backpack: Duke (Steel Brigade)
Rifle: Recoil (Steel Brigade)

Thanx for the info, Chad. I didn't know you had done all of this work.

Since I probably won't get a chance to get one of these in hand, I think I'm gonna WIP up at least both versions of Sightline. It's too good an idea to not have in one's collection. I might also try and make one using Snake-Eyes v4 head/torso like someone did in the Gallery.

I couldn't get an official one so I made my own. Used the trooper legs as Chad designed it. I also made a Wardog pet to go with him because Gary once said on a podcast it was his favorite Joe prototype toy.

If you are able to make it to Assembly Required in Des Moines on November 4th, you may be able to lay your mitts on one of these beauties...just sayin'.

Considering how supportive Goggles was for AR, that is really something. Can't wait to see how it is done for that show.
