Got the second 3 pack from BBTS and not as impressed with this one. Also saw them both at TRU for $30 each and they aren't worth that.

First up the Demogorgon. He is taller than the kids. He has mid forearm and high ankle joints. Unfortunately the joints on all of mine were super loose and one of his hip swivel legs keeps popping out. Plus, it is pink. Sure it has a wash, but it is pink and not grey like the show.

Dustin is the highlight here and he comes with the only accessory that isn't a backpack, a can of chocolate pusding.

My wife suggested this pic of Will. It shows him with his backpack off.

And now the updated search party shot.

Nice, he's taller than expected but still seems undersized. I think it actually is pink, but looks gray in the blue lighting of most of its appearances. By the time we see it in full light at the school, it's been burned and charred, but the bits that aren't black look pink to me.

Very glad to see Funko didn't Funko up the scale, so I put them back in my Pile o' Loot and shipped it.

found each set for $17 shipped on Amazon, so getting both essentially for the TRU list price is a score.

The legs on the monster do the same for me, pluv. I think it's a design flaw and/or broke coming out of the package.

But I'm thinking of bashing his lower half onto a goblin from LOTR for both height and stability. Haven't actually lined up parts to see if it's feasible, but I'll let you know.

Yes, tinker in the lab and let me know when you have a fix for him.

My PoL came in (with a couple green female HACKS Blanks, an Acid Rain Abbadon Puppet, a Lost Planet Jungle Pirate, a KO black Soundwave, and a white KO Perceptor as well as the 2 ST 3packs) and I've monkeyed with all of them cursorily. I'm actually rather happy with the ST figs despite noticing how Funko is like Mattel in that they deliberately choose not to use engineering joints as functional articulation. There's no reason the Demogorgon's hips couldn't have been ball-hipped like the neck, dammit. Despite that, I am actually happy with them overall. I did notice El got swivel wrists when nobody else did, though. I'm gonna looksee at some more American Girl MegaBloks to see if I can give her ball hips and a shorter skirt that will allow her to move her legs around a bit more, and maybe do the same for the boys. Swivel waists may well be possible, too. Dunno what to do about the lack of hindarm swivel, though.

Why do I get the same felling of aggravation from looking at these toys as I did watching the series.

I find myself needing more of the kids, for customs; to the point that I'm thinking of ordering dupe 3packs off BBTS and scrambling for an idea of what to do with a third Demo. But maybe another way could be cheaper and more elegant.

Anybody out there get the Demogorgon and looking to unload some kids' bodies to a stranger on the internet?

Also, any particular bikes I should be looking for? Anybody tried to use these as stand-ins for Elliot's friends with E.T.? Pics? The Goonies? Poltergeist?

I got the shipping notice for my NYCC 3pack with bewigged El, UnderSide Will, and closed-head Demogorgon; due Friday. I'm salivating to have extras I can do some exploratory surgery on.

UnderSide Will is gonna be a zombie kid alongside the Zombie Lab figures once they come in. He'll be my first sacrifice to find out how they're constructed and can be taken apart. I'll use one El body with the 2 swappable heads; and make another girl character with the extra El body. A similar philosophy will rule my actions with the extra Demo.

I'm debating whether to get extras of the regular 3packs, to make customs; and will probably end up doing just that.

If Funko were to do another pair of general release 3packs using more-or-less these same molds (new heads are plausible, and assuming the boys are top/bottom inter-swappable); who would y'all want to get? I'd like to get an El in jeans figure, if possible. But from what we have there looks to be about 5mm of empty space between where El's chest could meet Mike's waistband; so I dunno if it's possible. I'd like new bare headsculpts for Lucas and Dustin; maybe Will and Mike now with some sort of head gear. Swap the boys around parts-wise so they're all wearing different shirt- and pant-styles, repainted. Maybe give them new open-and-empty backpacks they can put the current gear in.

Target is putting up an end cap with Stranger Things stuff, but what is cool/weird is that they have single carded figures for $7.99 each if that tag is true across all Targets.

Are there single carded Demogorgons?

Was the endcap in the toy section?
