It's that time of year, time for Codename: Iowa to bring you Assembly Required 2017! Saturday, November 4th 2017 will mark the seventh annual get together of GI Joe fans from the Midwest and all over the country. As usual, the show is FREE to attend, and will be filled with vendors, activities, contests, and programming from all eras of the greatest action figure of all time! As you can see by the graphic, this year's AR will have an International flavor, heck, there may even be a giveaway for a super-secret prize the rhymes with "Bobo Schull". Seriously, this show is a lot of fun, and as a veteran of nine Joecons, it has a lot of the same appeal, and is way, way cheaper.

Upset that I can't make it this year. But too many work/school/$$$ conflicts this time around :-(

Booking information for the Hotel where most of the AR attendees stay. If you've ever been to Joecon the after-hours discussion and drinking, er, frivolity is very similar.

Assembly Required Custom Contest

Rules:
2 entries per category.
Voted on by attendees via ballot.
Winning entries receive swank trophy and sweet, sweet prizes.

Categories include:

FIGURES
VEHICLES
KIDS (13 and under figure, vehicle, kre-o)

Entries need to be Joe related or made from Joe parts.

In addition, as part of our continuing mission to engage new generations with the property, we'll have a kid's custom station where kids can create their very own vintage style custom figure that they get to take home with them!
