I ended up with a pick 12, but since they unlocked so much crap at the end, I may need to add some more at $20 each.

I went for the Pick6 set, but I'm thinking that'll need to be doubled in the BackerKit. I want a set of Allies to be stand-ins for Sgt Rock Fury's Howling Easy Company Commandos, plus some Nazis for everybody under the sun to whomp ass upon. Unfortunately, as usual there are a few more appealing items as I'm really tempted by the flametrooper and BREN Gunner to spice up the weapons load-out for the team. For the Nazis I'm thankfully less desirous of individuality and am just going for the cool uniforms. It was tough deciding between the Afrika or Winter Ops officer, but I went with the Afrikan to bounce off the English African Gunner.

Hey Taskers!

Backerkit APPROVED our project and the first "smoke test" invitations have gone out! Once we pass this small test (make sure all is going smoothly), will launch the rest of the invitations (within the next 2 to 12 hours). We hope you all like the NEW items we were able to add to the event! Here are the items that were either NOT in the Kickstarter or were not unlocked, but are NOW part of the Backerkit project:

The items are not eligible for selection in any of the "you pick" choices, but can be added to any pledge level package for an additional fee per set. Also, we bolstered up the "All-In" package with several of the "new" items to bring the value of the set more in-line with the other value sets.

Thanks again for your support!

Take care!

I'm already in at Pick 24, plus 6, plus a Panzer Grenadier. However, I'm definitely going to add for the head pack, the weapon pack and the gray German soldier.

Man, I was real F'n smart to save my selections above because I wouldn't know WTF to do looking at all the pull-down options without it.

I went all in and it looks like the only thing not included is the solid gray soldier

So, after careful review I learn that not all my choices got funded so I need to juggle some guys around to get as diverse and representative a team of Howling Commandos, so I chose these guys to fill my KS contribution's six slots:

The Thompson Gunner will get a mustache to become Dum-Dum Dugan.
The Medic got chosen because medics got the biggest balls on the battlefield.
The Japanese-American trooper will be Jim Morita.
The Navaho CodeTalker will have to be a new guy I make up. Sgt Rock's Easy Company has an Apache sniper named 'Little Sure Shot', but I think I'll pass.
The BREN Gunner will be Pinky Pinkerton.
The Russian Tanker will be have to be a new guy I make up. 'Crazy Ivan' is too obvious.

Image

For Add-ons I have to go with the 10pack of heads and a sixpack of Nazis:
The Early War Officer is my guy to lead them and I'll name him Colonel Klink.
The Early War Rifleman will be his Chief Stooge and will be Sgt Schultz.
Then there will be the Late War MP44 Gunner Bierdrinken,
MG42 Gunner Schnitzelgruben,
Panzer Grenadier Rifleman Putzenwanken,
and Panzer Grenadier MP40 Gunner Schmuckenstuppen as the Fier Stooges:

I threw up a thread on the MTF Fb about widening the diversity roster to its widest while keeping it the cheapest and doing a black Naval Shorepatrolman with the now-funded spats-legged mold being made into blue Dungarees with the white spats and 'sugar' belt I got to wear in San Diego Boot Camp.

I'd also love a French Maquis Resistance fighter.

Hey "Marauder Fighting 783!"

We just got back from our factory visit. During our trip, we were able to get the production started on the new WWII tools and are pleased to say we are still on schedule for a June 2019 avail. Here are images of the final tooling prototypes for British Soldier, Russian Soldier and German Panzer Grenadier.

We will post updates as the tools are completed and we get tooling test shots.

Thanks again for your support!

Hey "Marauder Fighting 783!"

We hope you are all doing well! A quick note to say your "Gun-Runners" have been very busy with the OVERWHELMING response to the recent MTF Contract Ops, Exo-Suit, Agency-Ops and K9 dog unit release...but NOTHING interfered with the MTF WWII project! We are still on track to ship reward packages in June. We are planning a trip to the factory to give final approvals and oversee production.

Speaking of approvals, here are the paint masters for the Kickstarter exclusive German Panzer Grenadier (German's neck post will be flesh color) and the USMC "Full Camo" uniform (waist section will also be camo). A BIG Thank you to the talented Alex Wu for the AMAZING work on the paint masters!

Hey "Marauder Fighting 783!"

What a busy time at Marauder HQ! We are working closely with the factory to complete the MTF WWII project and we have "gun-runners" at the factory overseeing production. Most of the final tool adjustments are complete and production is currently underway on the series. The most important part of the process is to be sure that the "fit" & "function" are correct on all the figures & accessories. What the "gun-runners" at the factory went through to get all the fine details worked out was ASTOUNDING! The next step is to be sure the base colors match the paint masters and then fine-tune intricate paint applications. Here are images of a base body color sample for the US Army soldier, Brit & Russian color samples and Russian headgear.

Our goal was to have all the new MTF WWII items on hand in June, with all Kickstarter reward packages shipped by late June. But we won't have all the items on hand in time for a late June ship. Breaking the shipments into multiple orders as the items arrive is not possible. We are now targeting the end of August to have all Kickstarter reward shipments complete. We are very disappointed with the unplanned delay and we are DEVASTATED that we have to pay the new 25% tariff rate, that goes into effect at the end of June, on our shipment. We understand solving the current trade issues are critical for the future of the US, just very unfortunate our small company got caught up in this VERY EXPENSIVE situation...but we will do what we gotta do.

On a side note, we had some backers cancel their pledges due to personal issues. We found homes for most of the pledge packages from those on our MTF WWII wait list, but we do have 3 (THREE) orphan "ALL-IN" packages for $699 each (International shipping is $49). If interested, email: info@marauderinc.com First come, first served. Offering them to any "Marauder Fighting783" member first. No interest here, will post them on our facebook page (these 3 packages will be the ONLY way for someone that missed the original Kickstarter to get the Kickstarter Exclusive Panzer Grenadiers).

Thanks again for your support!

It is so sad that businesses like this have to suffer due to the ignorance of politicians. When politicians start messing with my action figure collecting they have gin too far. I need my toys and I need them to be affordable. Maybe we should start making the president pay rent. Treat the politicians like everyone else. I remember when I was in Peru we had to pay for toilet paper in certain public areas. Let’s start charging them for their toilet paper cause we all know that they are full of "LASER BLAST"!!
