Looks like Target either over ordered their "Jurassic World" exclusives or they are selling poorly.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex Escape Pack is $24.99 (50% off of the original retail). The Target in Clifton must have had at least 50 sets in 3 spots in the toy department.

The kitchen and the rampage sets are also on sale- $13.99 each. The super colossal Giganotosaurus is also on sale for $30.

How good is the Explorer in that set? Worth the $25?

hmmmm I just read this & now wonder...

Quote:
The chaotic mix of record fuel prices and an unending supply chain crisis have retailers considering the unthinkable: Instead of returning your unwanted items, just keep them.

In recent weeks, some of the biggest store chains, including Target, Walmart, Gap, American Eagle Outfitters and others have reported in their latest earnings calls that they have too much inventory of stuff ranging from workout clothes, spring-time jackets and hoodies to garden furniture and bulky kids' toys. It's costing them tons of money to store it.

Jurassic World seems to be one of the lines that has no problems getting items in stock. Yet Star Wars is struggling to put anything besides Vintage Lando on the pegs.

Bought this during a prior $25 sale. Was surprised how nice the TRex was out of the package. The Explorer just went right on a display shelf, which is what I was planning for. Overall, I’m happy with it, but I guess it depends on your time expectations.

For anyone that was waiting on them, the "Hammond Collection" Tyrannosaurus Rex is beginning to hit Targets in NE NJ.

I picked this up for a friend after work today from the Target in Clifton.

The retail is $49.99+tax ($53.30 total in this area).

Happy hunting!

Hope the head isn't too tiny - I know the fig is way too small to fit in with normal 4" figs, but fingers crossed I can bash it onto an MTF body for a custom Alan Grant

Bah - I'll skip it, then. And just go with my original idea to use an MTF gray-bearded dude as "Old Alan" and I'll work on fixing the eyes.

Thanks!

Had a good few days for the Hammond Collection.

I got my triceratops from Amazon yesterday.

At Target I got a couple of $3.89 Malcolms and a $9.96 parasaurolophus.
My son got a Malcolm along with a couple $3.89 raptors and a $5.96 baryonyx.

Have a Tyrannosaurus sitting in my BBTS POL and managed to secure my Gennaro outhouse packs the other day as well.

I also pre-ordered a couple chesty Malcolm sets that apparently have been available to order since May, but I just found out about them the other day.
