Paramount is at it again. This time following the trend of Transformers, they're rebooting the GIJoe movie franchise based on a single character: Snake Eyes.
According to the article, the movie would be about SE's time in the Arashikage clan.

Would be nice to see him in the army with Tommy who would then introduce him to the clan, maybe after his accident, instead of picturing him as a kid growing up in the ninja clan from the start as shown in the earlier movie.

I guess this means we only have a year or so to wait to finally see new Joes or at least new Snake Eyes on the shelves.
Coming soon: Jungle Snake Eyes, Ninja Training Snake Eyes, Ninja Master Snake Eyes, Ice Blaster Deluxe Snake Eyes...

Surfer Attack Snake Eyes, Janitor disguise Snake eyes, pimp daddy snake eyes, prostate exam snake eyes, alternative lifestyle snake eyes...etc

As long as I get Cabin Rabbit Hunter Snake Eyes, we're good.

If we don't get this two pack, then I don't even know what the point of making toys for a movie based on toys is trying to accomplish. :-D

After Rise of Cobra I thought a Snake Eyes Origin story would be a good idea. His origin is the origin of all the villains and the key players for GI Joe. It is a compelling story with layers and tons of intrigue and action. I know fans get sick of the ninja-fication of GI Joe, but even Hama's run on the comic had its "Snake Eyes featuring GI Joe" era and Retaliation gave us tons of ninjaified things like the Ninja Combat Cruiser and the Cobra Combat Ninja just to name a couple that had nothing to do with ninjas. Easier sell to kids as ninjas than armed soldiers fighting terrorists I guess. As long as I get Cabin Rabbit Hunter Snake Eyes, we're good.

We all know good and damn well Arctic Snake Eyes concept art is being drawn now .
