You’d think after all these years we’d all know better than to click a link here.

Still waiting for JM70 to take the bait (we're on page 2 so it should be safe to say). Hell, the hyperlink was still in the "you've already clicked this" mode for me.

gijoe.com seems to have been revamped.
Nothing about the retro line yet though.

Retro line is just repaints/reissues of 50th anniversary figures. First 3 are Storm Shadow, Snake-eyes and Baroness and the AWE Striker with Crankcase and HISS Tank with driver. The best thing about these is the retro packaging. The rest is just a rehash of what we already have. Lame but it saves me money for the Classified stuff I guess.

Happy the retro line will be what they are. I’m hoping in continues on and provides fodder for a couple of years, once it gets going.

With the library of parts they have, it would be so easy to make fantastic updated versions of characters going forward with little to no new tooling. If they make a new head here or there or a piece of web gear they could make a fantastic line that has some legs and has that scale in the shelf for a couple of years.

If it's going to be the same ol' shiz I'm glad it's the shiz I actually use.

I guess the retro line is more like the Star Wars Vintage Collection than the Star Wars Retro line. Hoping for o-ring figures was just wishful thinking. Oh well.

the snake eyes is about perfect, but whats with the droopy web gear straps? i'm excited to see them, how much will they cost? iirc the 0ne or two i picked up at the dg way back when were $6.99, much more than that and i won't be able to swing them.

It's the little things that come across as laziness that really irks me...

You want to use the retro art - fine. But make the damn figure match. Or, fix the artwork - I'm sure Hasbro has someone who knows how to use Photoshop. Either give Snake Eyes the V1 head or change the picture to his visor. Same with Storm Shadow. When the image first came up, I was excited about Snake because the original head is my favorite. Then, seeing the figure was a letdown. For Storm Shadow, I actually like that sculpt. But, its the principle that bugs me.

I didn't find the preorder on the Walmart web site - what is the price point for these guys?
