I wasn't going to get any of the Super7 Joes, but I love everything about this set. Having an old hermit and comatose Snake Eyes with limited articulation is something I can live with. Found out afterwards that Joe comic artist and super fan Adam Riches did the box art for it which is why it looks awesome.

Yes $75 plus shipping is steep, but I have to imagine this was probably originally planned as a convention exclusive and the price is on par with those kinds of offerings.

I do not like the ReAction style figures. 5POA Star Wars figures disappointed me as a kid and articulation is why I fell in love with G.I.Joe. That said, I bought two of this set because its just "LASER BLAST" bonkers and I need one in box for the shelf and one to play with. I mean come on. Who doesn't want a blind hobo Santa and his dog sled on the shelf?

Yup, they got me, too. I'm not into the ReAction aesthetic at all (like Mysterious Stranger said, 5POA is something I was excited to move on from even as a little kid), but a dogsled with articulated dogs? And a bearded, crazy-looking old hermit figure? I'm not made of stone, Super7.

While I'm not the biggest 5 poa fan, I really like what Super7 is doing with this line. I really like the cartoon aspect of these figures.
I hope someone will cast the S7 Snake Eyes head to put on either o-ring or modern Joes because it's awesome. his little ray gun is also fantastic.
If only the army builders had bent arms like the Action Force Red Shadow figures to hold their weapons with two hands.

I already preordered the figures. Hopefully they will do more.

Unlike the Walmart exclusive Retro Collection that I never saw in stores, GI Joe Reaction have arrived at Toys R Us up here in Canada and it's great to see so many black cards with explosion on the pegs. Feels a bit like the good old days.

The Mutt figure is almost worth it just for the 'not JJunkyard' dog.

Easy there, Wicked Witch of the West...

Given these were posted on April 1st, I am slightly apprehensive about these being legit. More postings of actual info will go a long way to fix that...ie other confirmations.

Well to be fair the Snakelings from that episode didn't look too young either. Only pics I could find from it were of Snake Eyes and Shipwreck in disguise.

And I swear the Combat Engineers were in a Sunbow episode, but they may also be based on the unproduced Black Lady Jaye figure.
