Besides the retro O-ring HasLab Skystriker they announced - viewtopic.php?f=10&t=48452, here are some of the other reveals from today.

Classified 6"
They started with the BAT. If you like the 25th BAT but taller and bulkier this is perfect.

Then they showed off the Con Zartan with the cold temperature blue color change, but since those accidentally slipped out to retail already I skipped the screen grabs for it. Just google them.

So the Target exclusive theme for this year is Tiger Force vs Python Patrol
First up is Tf Outback based on his UK TF color scheme.

Then Taboo form the Black Eyed Peas came on a character he had a hand in helping develop for the line: Spirit. Now as a sniper instead of a tracker. Freedom comes with swapple ball jointed wings so he can sit perched (pegged) into his arm, shoulder, or backpack, with wings folded or getting ready to soar.

The last big Classified reveal had me really excited. Croc Master with his 12" croc Fiona and her offspring Diablo (white) and Georgie (green), which she can hold in her articulated mouth. She also has a wire bendy tail.

I wish Hasbro would pick a direction for Joe and just stick with it. Even Classified has gone from new takes and designs to just redoing classic looks in 6" style. And that is probably what 6" collectors have wanted the whole time, but it feels like a reboot on a line that just started.

Retro, an also very young line, has switched formats.

Pick a lane, Hasbro! I'd love it to be continuing the 25th-plus style, but if that's not where the market is, just offer something consistent!

retro o-ring neat but BIG PASS
I already have most of them all already
not to mention there were the re-issues before I bought a bunch of those comic book cards
I sold them all off when 25th came out

OK O-ring collectors time now to put the money where your mouth is

The Orings are cool. But cool like the 80’s. Fun to look back at but I don’t need to relive it. I’ll buy some. But really, most everyone has ARAH figures. Or can get some.

I would much rather have figures with the modern era builds like they’ve been putting out. Vintage retro vibe aside, the ARAH looks so dated.

Can’t find the regular color bat preorder anywhere.

They said the regular B.A.T. was a reveal only. Preorder coming later due to supply chain issues.

i saw someone selling "guaranteed pre order" of some of these. they didn't seem more than $10-15 dollars higher than retail. i just don't understand what could possibly in it for a seller, like a small seller with less than 50 items for sale. i think they are chancing really p-ing someone off when their source doesn't fulfill their end for whatever reason.

or is the thing they are selling just their "preorder" spot like selling your place in a line?

I'd only add I wish they'd try something new with the I.P. ex. Sigma Six (in 2.5, 4 or 6 inch scale). Sigma 6 didn't appeal to everyone but I respected the attempt and even more so years later. I'd have jumped all over modern joes if they were actually 3.75 "" tall and not 4 to 4.5inches tall.

The o ring offerings slightly appeal to me but I find myself asking...

Are these superior to the o ring comic packs from years ago?

Those comic pack figures were the pinnacle of o ring Joe in my opinion. If the new o ring offerings are going to be superior to the original ARAH joes in some way, the way the comic pack figures had better head sculpts for example, then I'd at least look at the new upcoming o ring figures.

That doesn't seem like it's going to be the case.

I'd likely still buy a few depending upon who was offered though. I'm of a mixed mindset regarding this news...

Ok, back when the retro line was first announced I was hoping it would be O-ring but now after having gotten some of them I'm going to say pass on the nostalgia.
Really these are what the Retro line should have been, the Retro line we got should have been the Classified line and the Classified line we got shouldn't have been. (Sorry 6 in lovers but the scale just isn't Joe)

That seems logical ^

When I read retro initially I expected, well, retro o ring figures. Like He-Man origins staying faithful to the original toy design .
