These are part of the movie line. No pics yet, though. :-/

Hell. . . YEAH!

If these are decently articulated that's GREAT news.

Yeah - a guy I used to work with just sent me the same link (he's a HUGE Trekkie.)

The figs I'm not too interested in collecting - depends on what they look like. What I'm really interested in are the playsets -- those should rock regardless :D

I agree with Chief. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm betting on limited articulation for the figures, but man I'm excited to see what kind of playsets they put out...(crossing fingers for a joe scaled runabout)

I shudder at the idea of this redshirt genocide.

Of course, if Captain Kirk's shirt got torn, the Predators and Aliens are toast.

Yeah, right. One look at a Pred's mouth and Kirk would be hitting on them.

Great news. I was huge into STTNG when the early Playmates line came out and had most of them throughout the years. The bridge playset was one of my all-time faves. I'd love to see ST characters in 3.75. Couldn't you see an eventual 3.75 Borg as the uber-BAT.

What would be *really* cool, if this line takes off, would be if they'd give us some single-seat fighters from the Trekverse. For some reason they're not a class of ship seen all that often in Trek shows, but we know they exist and have even occassionaly been given screen time. Shuttles are cool and all, but they're not a fricking fighter, y'know?

At some point I would like to see some fairly accurate 3-3/4 Star Trek figures, simply for the chance to do some crossover customs and just use the unique headsculpts.

I have been wanting to do some Jedi using the aliens/characters from the Trek universe: Klingon Jedi (the giant curved weapon as an exotic lightsaber), an Andorian Jedi, a Ferengi Jedi, etc.

Give me a Torres from Voyager for a female Klingon Jedi, an Orion Slave Girl (for Jabba's Palace), and a decent Seven of Nine (Jabba likes blondes).

Too bad this line only covers the new film and not the entire franchise :(

Yet. If it sells well, let's face it, Trek has been a licence to print money in the past.
