Okay I just got a loose set of Wild Weasel & Ace from a guy on JBL and they are both awesome! I've modified a Sigma 6 Firebat for Wild Weasel (its a tight fit but it works) and now I need a similarly wicked aircraft for Ace. I'm thinking of painting up a SW RotS Jedi fighter but thought someone might have a different suggestion. I want to stay in the small to medium range (a Skystriker is just too big for me now). Something futuristic and easy to get a hold of would be preferable. Any ideas?

I just don't like the Sith Infiltrator at all. At least not for my Joes. There's just something about it that doesn't work for me. Its a good suggestion though, just not what I was thinking of.

The Storm Eagle looks kinda big in the pics I've seen. I do like that one and its a cool jet but I think its a bit bigger than I have room for. And I've tried 25th figures in the ROCC jet and they don't fit unfortunately.

What about the newly released AotC Jedi fighter that comes with the hyperspace ring? I saw one of those at TRU over the weekend and I've been thinking of adapting the ring for the RotS fighter so the fighter would be leftover.

I was going to get a BBi F-16 for my Ace. Unfortunately they sold out really quickly.

Storm Eagle is actually just about as long as a Rattler, as I recall, so not too big.

The Elite Force F-18 would work, I believe we also carry a smaller jet fighter in the Elite Force series, can't confirm, my Elite Force Aisle is completely bare right now.

Gen. Grevious's ship from Ep3 is hitting shelves now. It's got a good look to it.

There's a futuristic jet that's sort of an F-15 hybrid with some buttons on the back. Wal-Mart version has no pilot, and maybe a sealed canopy, and I think the K-Mart version has a pilot and opening cockpit. Try that. It might work, and in fact, I'm thinking hard about buying it myself now that I'm talking you into it.

I dont' have Ace but 25th SE v2 fits in the Storm Eagle just fine. Its only 14" long by about 10" wide. That or maybe the little corps jet at wal mart for $5 .

And the one that Macromaster is talking about J_Man bought the wal mart one and he said you can break the canopy open and it'll close again just fine. TRU has the same jet with pilot for I think $25 with a Chap Mei pilot figure.

The Elite Forces F-22 would be cool. The one that lights up and all. Wal-Mart has a version that's silver and blue, TRU's is tan and green. It's a nice jet and will fit Ace fine.

ooOOOOooo the Grievous fighter... hmmm hadn't thought of that one. That's a definite possibility as it would fit in my near-future Joeverse and I'm sure I could paint it up pretty easily.

That Wal-Mart/TRU jet is very cool looking and one I considered but the buttons on the back kind of detract from the look I want. But I'll definitely take another look at it and see if it can be modified easily to cover those button holes.

Brian I'd LOVE to have a BBI F-16 but I'm going to have trouble displaying my Apache and Blackhawk as it is. Getting another truly awesome but large plane I think is out of the question right now. Dammit
