I'm working on a custom Rock Viper, and his accessories started bugging me. I was reading his filecard and it mentions a "missile pack & automatic grenade launcher"

Now my question is which weapon is his "missile pack" and which is the "auto grenade launcher"

I think the "missile Pack" is his back pack. I'm only basing that on the small missile like objects on it, and in one of the NES video games Rock Vipers hung from the ceilings and launched missiles from their back packs.

I thought the small gun was always described as a piton gun...somthing to "shoot" the pitons into solid rock for a secure climb.

You know the 2002 Rock Viper was the Range Viper which came with a bazoka type thing and a gernade launcher.

Yeah, there are three small missiles molded to his pack. But the grenade launcher? You got me there.

Yeah I read the filecard after the post. That rifle has to be gernade launcher it might explain the size of it.

Those remarks in the File Card could also be evidence of a pre-production change... If Rock Viper was meant to have one item and it got changed up at the last second so tehre wasn't chance to change up the file card text...

we know it's happened before with things like Scrap Iron and his climbing equipment, The suspected Cobra La origins of the Nullifier, and 2nd series of DEF characters...no reason not to believe it wouldn't be true for the Rock Viper.

Might be worth checking with Mark Bellemo(SP?) to see if he's got the Rock Viper bio of Larry Hamma's.

It's a grenade sniper rifle.

For sniping guys with grenades.

And the missiles shoot out from under his mustache. Why else would they all have mustaches?

I’d either switch the PSG-1 out for a proper grenade launcher or just forget the grenade launcher and go with the original accessories cause baby, the PSG-1 aint no grenade launcher. But that's just me.

Its all part of the uniform requirements.

Ya, like dakull says, the grenade launcher is prolly the thingamawhosis under the actual bullet barrel.
