They will be used for future projects. They also had another set with eyes in red/yellow/orange tones that I will get another time.

I didn't intend to spend any fun money today while running my responsible adult errands, but sometimes you see clearance bargains you cannot pass up!



I hit the TRU in Totowa as I was out that way and scored the very last "Animal Planet" set of articulated mini dinosaurs with the feathered raptor that they had. These sets were originally $9.99 are being clearanced out (hopefully to make way for new sets) at $4.99. I love feathered dinos so I had to get it despite the fact I already had one.





After visiting Liz at work for lunch, I hit the TRU in Paramus just to see if they had any more of the dino sets but they did not. They did, however, have the 6" "Warcraft" movie figures clearanced from $19.99 down to $4.99. They clearanced these a few months back but every TRU I visited only had the 2 human figures not the Orcs. They must have found a case in the storeroom recently as there were 4 Durotans and a Blackhand hanging on the pegs. I snapped them up instantly as you cannot beat 75% off of great gigantic monster figures!



I had some 55% off coupons for A.C. Moore so I picked up the other set of plastic dragon eyes I wanted and a cool copper octopus pendant that will all be used for future dioramas. The eyes came to $2.40 and the octopus was $1.90 after taxes

Got the 40th anniversary Star Wars black series Luke, Leia, and Vader at Target. Told myself I was not buying any of these. But seeing them on the vintage cards and Vader in that mail away box, I just had to get them.

I got Shodo Kamen Rider wave 5 in today. I love the Gryllus Worm 2 came in the case and I ordered an additional 5. I hope they make some more Worms

Yeah he is the Gryllus Worm. He has a very Yuuzhan Vong feel to him. I think he is my favorite out of all the figures they have put out so far.

I got mine from here. It looks like they are sold out of him individually but they have a 3 figure set he is in.

I got a package from TRU today, containing 6x Thunderbirds Kayo Kyrano figures. I saw pluv's post and checked out TRU to see what they had.

The wrist communicator and the helmet have potential, but be aware there is a split up the back of the helmet to accommodate her ponytail. The figure itself has some minor issues from packaging, but after being freed they seem to not be as noticeable.

The design of the figure works well for a bodysuit, so I could see drbindy, Spectre, and a few others utilizing the body in a wide range of customs. From SHIELD agents to space pilots, from diving suits to aliens, I can think of a few possibilities.

starwarsgeek has a sale through today and I placed two orders with him. One arrived today too. From time to time I find myself buying a few of his 25 piece rejects. These rejects have a variety of issues that come from the casting process: blowouts, missing pieces, assorted damage, etc...

While some holes can be patched and sanded, I can't help thinking of the zombie possibilities. There could be a wide range of injuries from various gunshots and melee weapons. Just need painted and weathered and good to go...

He sells the 25 piece sets for $5 normally. But I used the BOGO50%, got three sets and another head.

Picked up 12 of the second wave of elite force single figures for $1 each at Roses today. Heck, hard to pass up fodder that cheap.
