I get stuck in a loop when trying to get scale figured.

looking at alien eggs the info I found lists them as 100cm tall with 50cm dia

the base eggs I have to use are 2 1/8 inches tall 1 1/2 inch dia

converting inch to cm...…. my eggs are 5.4 x 3.8

I found this page https://www.inchcalculator.com/scale-calculator/

running 100cm x 50cm I get

5.5556 x 2.7778 cm

round that up 5.6cm tall x 2.8cm di

so i'm really close height or right on once I add detail to the tops, but my dia is a full cm too big.

my head hurts just using the page and the calculator....

I think I'd rather use the actress/figure height for the height necessary for the eggs instead of some some wiki entry (even if it came from an in canon source).
2 1/8" seems right.

^ that's what I do when I have questions of scale but am missing measurements (flashes back to scaling up vehicles for mega construx figures. I just made sure the doors on the vehicle accommodated the figure height ).

in the same vein how undersized have the various versions of timber been?

i think the marauder dog may be the correct scale version of a large scale timberwolf, but i haven't seen one.

can someone pics of your marauder dogs with a figure?

Image

what about in the various other gi joe media, was timber portrayed bigger?

what would be the perfect size wolf for 4" figures? length and height.

The Marauder dogs are pretty big. Bunch of comparison shots here.
