Went to Walmart to buy vacation fish food, and found two six inch Cobra Infantry. Needless to say, that made my day.

I went to Target with the wife to grab a few things. We went up to look at a toy the Little Warrior is saving up for and my wife spotted an open box on a cart. Inside, 2 Cobra Troopers. I took a look in the aisle and the rest of the case was on the shelf. Grabbed two Zartan and the Scarlett redeco. I left the Roadblock. The guy working the toy section saw me grab the Troopers and looked pissed. My guess he wanted to buy them. Sorry bud.

Yeah the snake head and monkey paw are a nice touch. Makes me want to learn how to shrink and cast.

I saw the retro figures. They had Hulk and Spidey. I was super tempted but I already had 5 Classified figures in the cart so I passed. They also had the new Ang figure from Avatar. My daughter said she’d fight me for it and use her karate and air bending powers for it. Needless to say I’m going back tomorrow and if it’s there I’ll grab it

Stopped into Target earlier.

Took pics of the MOTU mini-figs (see separate thread for pics).

Found 3x Hot Wheels TMNT vans. I always get three of the 'celebrity' Hot Wheels, since usually a year after the release at the $1 price point they put them on a bigger card and charge $5 for them.

Also found more of the Marvel Retro figures, but only grabed Warbird and the Hulk.

Picked up a couple of Suicide Squad graphic novels from Ollie's.


I also stopped at Michaels to inquire about custom matts for my two GIJOE poster I got recently. I was told they were 10x30, but when I measured them, they were just over 11x36. The only picture frames I could find to fit were 13.5x40. I figure a nice matt on each one will really make them pop. I was quoted about $16 for a 24x40 matt board and $11 labor to physically put them together in the frames. Not bad price, considering I had seen quotes of up to $35 each for custom matts.

my Walmarts are a barren wasteland when it comes to Star Wars VTC

The Cortland Walmart has the same three Vintage Chirrut Îmwe figures they have had since like January 2020.

Other than a few Andor figures I found at Ollie's a few months ago and the 2x Hondo ones at Target, I haven't seen any Vintage, Black Series, or other 3-3/4 Star Wars figures at any big box store.

Wait, I did get a very clearanced 'Gold' set from the Ithaca Walmart last year...

The only figures I've seen with any regularity have been the Rebels ones from the cartoon, along with a few Reys, old Leias (the new trilogy gray dress), and some Jyn Ersos. All of those were on the plain white cardback.

I swear, I would have gotten a bunch of Cara Dunes, Doctor Aphras, and Mandolorians if they had been readily available.

Heck, my Target just got the Jar Jar/Moff Gideon wave of 6 inch figures a month ago and they are already clearanced...
