Had a surprising week day off and did laundry and errands.

Picked up a Batman/Mr. Freeze/Batwing set from Target on clearance.

They appear to have rearranged the action figure a bit since my last visit.

Went to Walmart and was surprised how full the action figure aisle was, save for Fortnite and Hot Wheels.

I did see they had GIJOE figures marked as $10.41, and had 8x Stalkers. I picked them up for possible fodder.

Only stuff in clearance aisle was fishing reels and miscellaneous fishing stuffs.

Had a partial training day, so I ran to Big Lots after work.

Found a bunch of Marvel Retro 3.75 figures: Classic Spider-Man, Magneto, Human Torch, and Hulk (green).

I already had Human Torch and Hulk, so I picked them up to see if I could make a Red Hulk and some other character,

They had a ton of movies on clearance in the $.47-$1.50 range. Several of the Season packs were $5 and under (these are Seasons 1-3 or 1-4 of various older TV shows).

Today's Target ("Fortnite" and "The Batman") and Dollar Tree ("Barbie") pick ups!

The "Barbie" backpacks are just about perfect for 3.75"/4" figures, both male and female as pictured. They just need to be repainted. The accessories are hit or miss, but the books are welcome diorama fodder.

Selina is knock kneed though, so a little disappointing.

The small Fortnite figures are articulated: swivel head and waist, ball hinge shoulders and hips, hinge elbows and knees. I got them to be kids in spacesuits for my eventual diorama.

They are pretty nice at 50% off. I would have been a bit disappointed at full price. The flying one is more or less an upscaled version of the 3.75" scale one with 3 added POA (ball hinge ankles and a ball mid torso). The non flying one is basically the same as the flying one save for the wings being permanently bent at the elbow for walking on them.

If they go 75% off, I may grab a few more sets.

Nice score.

I’ve only looked at one Family Dollar and they didn’t have it. We also don’t have many around here so it might be a while.

Are the Fortnite figs like MegaBloks scaled?
