I'm starting to delve into action figures like never before and I'd like to know more about the Figma figures. How well do they pose? I'd love to see some photos of their abilities. Or just some general discussion. Please chat at meh!

Freeing doesn't make Figmas. Max Factory makes Figma. Freeing does make the Exride stuff though which is scaled specifically for Figma.

I've never bought Figma stuff since the whole moe girlie figure thing is not my thing. However, they are very popular. They're sort of a competitor for Kaiyodo's Revoltech line. As such, their joints are very similar which means the Figma figures are very flexible. To find some photo reviews, all you really need to do is track down just about any Japanese toy blog. They all seem to collect them.

For a quick example, this guy (Gamu) just picked up one of the Persona 3 Figmas and put up a review.

I just saw the figma RoboCop and am hoping that it will be roughly in scale with modern Joes. Looking at other figmas, it may be a little small. But it is definitely worth keeping an eye on. If anyone finds any sort of size comparison, I would love to see it.

There's a whopping huge Fwoosh threaddedicated to the line. I've never looked in it as my impression of Figmas is that they're all about the anime chicks at a size and style completely irrelevant to me, so I can't tell you what's in there.
