Went to Disneyland on Monday and picked up a few things. Got a Droid set for Spectre that he needed and a set for myself, the same one Spectre got from pluv.

And this Droid Factory Mystery Crate. Inside was a black polybag with droid parts in it. I took a gamble and picked one up for funzees and I'm glad I did. The crate is what interested me the most but for $15 I wasn't sure it was worth the cost. But the droid inside was a color of astromech I haven't seen before. Its S3-R9 from the tag inside the bag. The crate has foot spots for the droids feet to sit in once you put it together. The translucent blue front wall and top is etched on the inside to look like a forcefield with lines across it. The back wall has a smaller clear blue panel with scrambled droid specifications on it. A panel on the corner of the other two walls has some colored buttons and there are a couple tampos. The base is made with interlocking tabs and slots so you can put a few of these together and the base will nest tightly on the top of the crate for stacking. Based on the footpads on the base these are likely all astromechs but there are enough different heads and color combinations that it should be fun collecting a few more. I have a few more trips planned in the next weeks so I plan to grab one of these each time I'm there and see them. I'd like about 4 of them for a nice dio background.

The mystery droids are a mix of Astromechs (including a Chopper repaint) and BB droids.

And thanks again for grabbing that last droid set for me :)

That looks great. We're hoping to get down to Disney in March. I'm definitely grabbing all I can of the droid stuff

I picked up a Space Jam 2 Lebron/White Mamba set at Target for $9.

Wondering what kind of Cobra-La character to make.

Are the Fortnite figs like MegaBloks scaled?

The Fort 'minis' are about 2.5 to 3 inches tall. Much thicker than MegaBlocks.

After work Target score!

I grabbed a second Selina Kyle as I wanted another of her knife and whip. A bonus is that this one has much better legs than the one I bought earlier in the week.

Boil the legs and rubber band them around something that would straighten them out or make them slightly bow-legged? if you're into that... :shifty:

I forgot to post this earlier tonight.

I grabbed one of the shorter dome tonight at Dollar Tree. You can see it is shorter than the ones I got last year and the base is different. These shorter ones are superior in that the domes actually lock into the bases instead of relying on friction to keep them in place.

I may go back and grab a few more tomorrow after work.

Wow, is that Selina Kyle head sculpt horrible.
Unless John Leguizamo is playing the role. Then they did a pretty good job.

It also seems to be a bit small.

I like that head and might not be able to pick her up. If you swap one spec let me know :) I still haven't seen those globes either. Can you post a pic of the short one with a 4" figure?

Well, I got Covid on Wednesday. I’m home isolating. My wife and daughter tested negative so they’ve been staying at a hotel. It’s my daughter’s birthday on Monday and she was supposed to have a sleepover and we were going to see Harry Potter on Broadway but that all got rescheduled. So they went to a hotel so she could at least swim.

Anyway, they stopped by the house to get more clothes and dropped off a couple get well gifts.

You can never have too many Cobra Troopers and Four Roses is a nice sipping whiskey.
